Gary Greasby: Opening bat and Paul Hewitt: Medium pace right
occasional slow "spin" bowler. arm bowler. Never shy to throw
Recent winner of Aston CC golf the bat around a bit either.
Tournament (28 handicap really!)
Eddie O'Hanlon: Workhorse of the Jez Hull: Always near the top of
bowling attack. Useful with the bat the batting averages but a mad
as well. Hatter at heart.
Mike Wallis: Known just as Doc, Matt Wallis: Despite being Docs son
Mike bats in a way so exciting it is Matt has developed into a good
not too dissimilar to that of Geoff all-rounder (as well as scoreboard
Boycott! Doc also holds some high operator). Very useful with the bat
position within the club, but everyone and has started to produce some good
still ignores him! spells of fast seam bowling this season.
Graham Hull: bit of an all-rounder Mick O'Hanlon: Aston CC owes a lot
Graham scores valuable runs and to Mick, as well as being a regular
often picks up invaluable wickets player, scoring some valuable runs as
with his no frills bowling. well as taking the odd
wicket, season after season he
turns out great pitches as the
groundsman.
Richard Russell: Player as well as helping Nick Brown: Definatly one for the
out with the scoring. Has been opening the future. Nick has impressed in colts
batting of late with some success. cricket and now finds himself a
regular for the adults at only 15
years old.

and regular umpire for senior matches.
Many years as a player and fixture
secretary, Roy can still occasionally be
seen playing.
